Sometimes while sPvP, i get hit by a Smoke Bomb that does 8-9k damage, i thought it was our grandmaster trait but when i tested, it does around 0-300 damage anyone have any idea how to trait it to dmg ? or if it is even our skill ? ( i know only thief and engi have it )

also.. i’ve gotten hit by it a few times while fighting Mesmers, but there is nothing about smoke bomb on their skills/traits :P!! i always thought that it was their trait “when you get cc, reflect the cc back to its source”, but thinking about it is kinda dumb.. unless it does reflect an old version of smoke bomb where it did a lot of damage and cc. im just wondering

That’s an old mesmer bug. The ability hits normally but appears incorrectly in the death breakdown.

Unfortunately, “smoke bomb” is actually their downed state #3 skill, phantasmal rogue. Yes, it hits that hard.
