Everything in engineer have direct damage + conditions, so if you go bers – your condition damage will do nothing, if you go condition – your direct damage will insanely low.

So should i go rampager to boost both or i’m wrong?

Generic question requires generic answer: depends on your build and what you want to do.

I like Rampager because lately I’ve grown to really like hybrid builds more than straight power or straight condition damage. I use quite a few Rampager pieces in a P/S grenade build.

If you want to use grenades I would say yes Rampager is good for those. You’d have to let us know what your plans or ideas are.

Would you suggest rampager for bomb build as well? or go more full power, as we really only have the burn on #2?

I wouldn’t, but there are people that use bomb condition builds that could probably speak more to its effectiveness. I prefer to use bomb in a more power build as it hits really hard, definitely our best auto attack in terms of direct damage.

Using it for the fields and big immobilize/cripple, sure I would use it with pretty much any gear setup. You did say bomb build though, so I answered with the idea that it is your main weapon.

Yea, it is my main weapon. I use it in a bomb heal/control sort of build. Recently moving away from condi/tough/heal pwr to almost all clerics, with a few knights, so that when pressuring people the bomb auto attack crits for right around 1600-1700 dmg. Excpecting to get some buffs in the next balance patch as well.

you could run rampagers for a bomb build, but zerker would do more damage. bomb auto attack hits pretty hard. i find might stacking to be a key asset to hybrid builds. because of the bonus to both condi and power you could feasibly run full zerk or full rabid while still dealing hybrid damage.
