Dear engineer friends,

I do honestly love to play my engineer a lot. Though I am currently struggleing finding the right style for it.
It is a human female engineer with blue hair and a tight body.
I would like to request some armor ideas and mixes plus backpack skins additional to fitting weapon skins.
I always liked a futuristic type of look, kind of high-tech but can’t really find any clothes which would combined shift away from the awful trench coats. I’d like to be a modern and futuristic looking engineer more than anything else. Since I dislike the hobosacks already, the style issue became very prominent for me.

Any input about weapon, backpack, armor skins for a human female engineer would be very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, you’re a human. If you were Asura, you’d have no problem getting futuristic armor because their tier 2 and 3 cultural armor is right up that alley.

However, since rerolling a character is likely out of the question, here are some armors that look pretty techy (sort of) (found at this page: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Human_female_medium_armor)

- Forgeman (what I use on my engineer)
- Leather (simple design, but still somewhat elegant)
- Noble (Similar to Leather, but not as cool IMO)
- Rubicon (Might be too much trenchcoat though)
- Mist Walker (Same as Rubicon)

And final these can be bought on the gem store:
- Aetherblade (Very techy)
- Magitech (Probably the most techy)

As for back items, hobosacks are here to stay for the time being, so I never really bothered looking into anything with that regard. I hope some of this helps though!

Sadly the futuristic look will most likely clash with the hobosacks badly.
I would recommend a more old timey/steampunk theme.
Rogue, duelist, krytan, rubicon chest pieces fit really nicely. You can tech it up with some monocle/starting engi helm etc.

The hobosacks are the reason I went asura for my engi. They are so ridiculous looking on all the other races and aren’t so offensive on the Asura (though I still would prefer to see my light of dwayna -.-)

I wanted to make a human female engi, i really did. I tried and tried but couldn’t get something I liked. I saw the Dry Top goggles come out and was like “ohh maybe I can make Tank GIrl”, nope, really nothing available to do that with. Medium’s far too full of long coats, literally the one time I wanted to make something showing a little skin and, nope medium you can’t do that arg.

So I just went master race Asura

So I went through quite the process, but I finally came up with a style I am very confortable with.
Now just working towards the Dragon Wings and a nice rifle.
What do you think??
