Try this out
Minor adjustments. Get rid of Bombkit for Flamethrower. Now your barrage adds 10+ seconds of Burning. You also gain another pushback, blind, and Flamethrower 2 skill gets the 10% explosion damage bonus. That skill alone can deal around 4k damage too, but it’s an awkward arcing skill.
It also sounded like you wanted to use the Rifle a lot. As you are aiming for Crits, Go for the Eyes would be far better than Precise Sights. With my adjustments, you now have 2 knockbacks, burning condition to apply at will, 3 blinds (Go for the Eyes and Flamethrower and Grenades).
This will make you much harder to approach, and seeing as you don’t have any toughness or vitality, the bomb kit would barely ever get used by you.
You’re very glass-cannon, so do be careful about letting people close to you.
I take the bomb kit over flamethrower anyday, the 3k-4k aoe blast is awesome, plus the smok bomb.. But yeah the burn trait is definitely worth investing in if you want 2-4 burns to go with the barrage.
Also I took the scope trait because I think it can be applied to grenade barrage, so stand still when you cast it.
Can you verify this?
kinda how to guestimate chances, but you can change it and whatever.
edit: made some personal changes, I took 20 out of explosions and put 10 alchemy and the rest in tools. the damage seem about the same, ofc if you plan on using grenades then it is somewhat of a no go, but I plan on using this build as a rifle build with barrage so eh. Same damage it seems thx to the 10% crit dmg

Looking at the OP build, might consider running 15 in tools and 25 in explosives.
Gets you the ‘explosions cause vulnerability for 5 seconds’, which I believe is triggered off of barrage, and still nets you the recharge of the heal from the tool belt.

go to the dummies in the mist. Hit 1 a hundred times while moving, then copy/paste the damage log
rinse and repeat while standing still.
painstakingly break out the calculator and do the math from there.
just FYI scope trait is still bugged.
if you don’t have it kit refinement is a great trait for grenade kit since it will basically release a close aoe version of grenade barrage. All the grenades don’t typically hit but it can still be 3-4k damage, which is not shabby at all.
Does the tools 15skill recharge the F1 from medkit?
Yes, F1 medkit heal cooldown is affected by the tools trait line. I would expect the 25% health, 15 point toolbelt skill should refresh the F1 heal.
