Just a wild hunch, but maybe they’re going to change the Rifle animation of “Hip Shot”?

In the Lost Shores promotion, they show a character with the iconic Engineer armor (42k Medium) and The Predator legendary rifle.

Why would they show the Engineer with a scoped rifle if they shoot from their hips?

Is it possible they might finally change the animation? Or better, give us a proper build for Rifles instead of a shotgun?

I wouldn’t trust promotion art for direction on balance changes.

Remember a lot of the concept art has engi’s with what looks like mini guns. Even the trait Ui art has mini guns, yet we as engineers do not have mini guns.

Art is art, made to look good.

But we do know a lot of changes will be involves with the update, and people were BEGGING for a Sniper Kit!

Seems like engineers are trained in the martial art of fighting with their hips:
We shoot bullets from our hips, flames, darts, rams …
Mmh. We actually deserve guns like the Quip

I really hope not. Hip shot is a personal favorite of mine. I would like a legendary shotgun skin though…well more a legendary shotgun net thrower blast launcher thing skin. Beefy barrel, cogs, spinning gizmos, levers, some sort of hell’s angel skull painted on the stock…

Showing an engineer with predator skin is just a slap to the face.

The engineer was hyped up to be THE master of guns profession inspired by the Commando.

It’s really a slap in the face he hip shots The Predator…
