As a condi engi, is rocket boot’s toolbelt higher DPS than flamethrower’s napalm now, with a 33% dmg increase and cd reduction from 17s to 15s? (Especially since rocket kick is way easier to land than napalm)

33% damage increase is for power part only – FT is still way stronger

I wouldn’t be surprised if rocket boots were now used for some situations, but flamethrower still provides more damage and utility than just napalm. Incendiary Ammo is an extremely strong DPS skill, and the flamethrower also has knockback, aoe blind, and a short cd blast finisher.

So if the mobility from the boots is useful then sure I’d take it, but for general use flamethrower is still better.

Rocket kick is still a decent option for enemies on the move, otherwise napalm will still outdamage it

Double Incendiary Ammo is even with 3 rocket kicks. So even if you miss 50% of napalm it’s still better.
