Runes for shared celestial
I can see celestial on engi. I can’t on ranger though.
Let me worry about the ranger part of it.
Hm. Thought Celestial gear soulbound when you equipped it.
Anyway, as a Celestial-using Engineer: I found Traveler Runes pretty useful, and they’d probably be handy on a Ranger, too. Most of the time, I just go straight Divinity, because I change builds often and don’t want to have to build around certain effects – this is pretty much the same reason I used Traveler, besides the speed.

Sorry, meant ascended armor, which is now account bound.
I like those two suggestions, seems like good choices for sharing between professions as well as playing with a bunch of builds like celestial would allow. Thanks.
Not sure about ranger, but I’ve found runes of the pack with cele gear to work well on my engi. With hidden flask (first minor trait in alchemy trait line) and runes of the pack you have a moderately high up time on fury.
For wvw roaming, running full cele on engi can work very well (assuming you have a good trait setup), and in some cases I find myself able to getaway with more than with just rabid gear.
Otherwise, divinity runes seem to be a good compromise. Engis can keep 100% up time on swiftness with speedy kits, so (unless you don’t use speedy kits) I don’t think traveler runes would be worth using on engi.
could take strength or aristocracy, without knowing your ranger build one has to assume it’s hybrid if your your taking celestial which works better with might stacking you get from those two particular runes so far I’m assuming your planning heavier on conditions so aristocracy could be very good for the condition damage and the extra might durationn wwill help with stacking might which cwould be easy now due to the axe stacking might.
edit* those 2 runes work amazingly on the engineer.
Runes of Strength.

I was about to pop in and suggest travelers runes as well.

…and suddenly, I had a use for building Ascended gear.
I like going for Mercy any time I’m not specifically runing for maximum damage or a specific proc. The extra rezzing isn’t going to be uber-powerful, but it is handy in group settings.
