Everyone who used SD know that it has some inconsistency in dmg, so I started to do some testing on Target Golems.

Results:
0) Every Hit has a chance to Crit, it’s not tied to the Bolt.
Screens 1-8)
(I believe it’s common knowledge, so 0) point. ^^ )

1) Every “Bolt” has a ~10% default RNG in dmg.
Screen 1)
[It changed in the range of 128-141 for me, but as I used the same skills only like 20 times, it can maybe go lower/higher.
I was testing them without weapons equipped, so I believe it’s the SD’s RNG and not the weapons, but I’m not sure it’s working this way in sPvP. ]

2) Every hit from the same Bolt will do the same (base) dmg.
Screens 1-8)
[Vulnerability/Armor/etc. will modify it, but the “dmg-RNG” will not change from hit to hit, it remains the same for all 3 hits of the given Bolt.]

Skill Specific Results:
I did not test all Tool belt skills yet, as I was interested in my “favorite” SD-engi skills.

Used skills are:
Throw Wrench
Surprise Shot
Rocket Kick
Analyze
Net Attack
On Screens only the first 3 are displayed, as Analyze apply the 10 Vulnerability stack for more dmg and Net Attack was only tested against Surprise Shot (both are Turret skills).

3) Every Skill has the same “base dmg” for the caused Bolt.

4) Every Skill scales with Power the same way.

I was too lazy to calculate if it’s scaling good or not, I was only interested in the fact that they scale the same way.]

5) Every Skill scales with the Equipped Weapon’s Strength except Surprise Shot.
Screens 4-6)
[I believe this is the only reason for lower dmg on Surprise Shot.]

Screen 7-8) are not fully researched yet, maybe will test later if Rocket Kick scales badly with runes or not, but I believe it was just bad RNG. My main focus was Surprise Shot, and it did lower dmg.
I have to test Scholar more, as now it seems as Surprise Shot did not get the +10% dmg, but bad RNG can compensate for it, so for now I think it’s working.
