After a lot of farming & annoying crafting & lots of spent money
Here it is, the ugly rifle!

I’m planing on getting 2 pistols I think the look pritty sick going to try for a dire set and apothecary set, the apothecary look absolutely awesome imo

It’s would look good with rabid-stat skin (grizzlemouth)

Now the big question is:

is the ascended rifle worth the effort damagewise?

And I don´t consider the rifle-model ugly, more the opposite, only the colours and skin are a little lacking imo.

I wanted to get Giver’s pistols. But anet descided not to put those in the pool of ascended/legendary stats, so i wont be getting an ascended weapon. Already got Predator aswell.

Gratz, but now have fun with it being hidden most of the time (since you almost always have to use at least 1 kit).

Anyone have the skin for Mathilde’s Revolver yet?

Iv only glanced over the weapon skins, so far only the pistols look good, and thats by comparison with other pistol skins.

Almost got 2 just need to do one more farming run then get huntsmen to 500 should be pritty easy I pay to win at crafting so I’ll I post pics of it for ya when I do

(I originally supported the idea of obtaining BiS items in methods of crafting, such as with ascended. However, after playing Rift for quite a while (and keep in mind, i never raid at max level), i disagree. I won’t bother going into exactly why, if you can’t guess, you won’t understand.)

Yeah, this cheesed me off. I went to go craft a giver’s pistol only to find out that none existed. I’m completely baffled as to why this was not made available when things like settler’s and sentinel’s are available.

My guess is they’ll have some other roundabout way to get them later (i.e. Wintersday drop), by which time I will already have removed it from my build checklist and won’t want it anymore.

I’ll just keep using the exotic pistols. In the meantime im trying to get a refund on the ascended inscription and ascended pistol recipe since i wont be needing this anymore.
