Scope has always and will always work
No, I meant how are general traits considered in the damage formula? Do they have a specific priority, with regards to each other?

Can you provide me an example? I don’t think I understand what you want to know.
Think he means when it IS multiplicative, than the order in which each trait is counted actually matters. Or it could matter, depending on what is calculated.
If the traits work additively, than the order doesn’t matter of course.
The part that bothered me the most is with that statement from Karl, basically means they physically don’t test the engineer.
I’m sure they do test… just not using Scope. Never really seen any builds with it.

That’s because it’s fairly common knowledge in the Engineer community that it doesn’t actually work.

I’m sure we’d see people using the trait if it actually works. For full berserker builds, you’d see something like a 20%+ increase in dps whenever you stand still.
I mean what other traits would you use when you already have SD and Speedy Kits? Certainly not our GM traits.

I would actually take the new KR over Scope, whether Scope worked or not.
Scope would be very useful in PVE if it actually worked. 10% crit chance might not seems like much to a SPvPer but in PVE stat land its huge.
