For what reason you run scrapper now in PvE? Will it forever be assigned into PvP exclusive mechanics? The only problems I have with Scrapper, it brings no benefits to YOURSELF in PvP, or even other people when they won’t get downed in any situation.

I wish anet adds a bit more functionality when Function Gyro is active. They should have provided some sort of boons, or add another slot so you can use it as a utility gyro. Which means, you can use two shred gyros for example.

Technically you can use it in PvE to get an ally up.

But it’s pretty rare that it will ever be particularly useful.

That ability to rez allies at range piqued my interest, since I typically play healers in other games.

But in actual play I almost never got to use it.

The game’s group content is still very melee-oriented so when one player dies the odds are that every other team member (including yourself) is standing right next to their corpse.

This fail of the scrapper was pointed multiple, multiple, multiple times. Even before they released HoT, it was said by the players that the function gyro needed something to do in PvE.

When they still replyed in this forum, Irenio Calmon Huang said they will give it a look.

Here we are today, NOTHING has happened.

It should be able to mine ores, chop trees and gather plants.
