Guild Wars 2

Hey guys!

I really like the Scrapper and enjoy the hammer a lot. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a Scrapper tank build for raids? I have a beginning of a potential build, but note that I am a huge scrub when it comes to theorycrafting, so I am posting this here to see what changes you guys would make or if this is even a feasible idea.

I am iffy about using inventions, but I wasn’t sure what else I could use there. Please list any and all changes you would make.

While the idea of tanking is interesting, the problem with GW2 is that you don’t necessarily need an actual tank build and gear, just enough toughness to hold the aggro and everything else should be your usual dps stuff. The damage isn’t enough to force you into a super defensive setup, which is kind of a shame.

Exactly what *Krag*said. I would not invest too much into defense at all. It’s not wise to lose so much dps by letting the Engi tank, but if you really want to, I’d use something like this + a thoughness infusion:
