Scrapper full support viable?
My full support build works well with Scrapper. Using all gyros is a kitten though I wouldn’t do it.
Here’s my build:
they are likely removing soldier amulet in a couple weeks, for reference
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions
I would consider EG in a full support, you could then use the fumigate and bouncing glob and the light field to remove conditions on your allies and grant health and harm your opponents. while standing slightly back from the front line. I’d take CC’s as well to hose up your opponents. and mortar to add fields.

Strong healing from multiple water fields and blast finishers, Elixer R and Function Gyro to turn you into an emergency Rez monster, and hammer/bulwark for reflect and survival.
Just needed to shed another tear for them removing the super fun elixer infused bombs.
I actually tried using that pos known as med kit and what an absolute joke.
Personally I think other proffesions fill the support role much better than us.
I tried this full healing build in WvW. Spammed medkit 1 most time, highest heal was 420. Not sure if good but it helps a lot vs arrow carts. The worst thing is that it gives no loot.

Nope it still sux. Engi is at its best with decents support through elixir gun, healing turret and mortar. Any more investment into healing power and support is wasted.
Just play a support tempest or druid in comparison to see how (s)crappy it is.
They seem to be pretty adamant about making sure that we dont get healing bombs back. I can’t even remember when it was the last time that i saw bomb played in PvP/WvW.
Healing allies now gives loot. A lot of it.

Personally, instead of gyros, I think boon duration would be a bit interesting. CC’ing enemies and giving much needed boons seems a bit more effective than healing which is alright but it requires a big investment, and water fields tends to do the job already.

Medical Dispersion Field still competes with overhealing, common thing on a support build, so no :/

I actually wanted it removed, or at least severely changed.
Requiring the engineer to camp a kit to really get any use out of the skill is…problematic.
In the exact same way that health insurance and juggernaut are problematic.

I actually liked this. You basicly make bomb AA your go to auto, but you still swap to other things when you want to do something besides autoattacking in close quaters. You still used your e gun and rifle for many things. Now we’d even get the mortar as well. Basicly a GM trait that completely defines your build and playstyle is a great thing and as it should be imo. However i get that the playstyle may not suit everyone so i can see why some people wouldn’t like that.
Also health insurance is on a whole other level xD. I agree its the same in theory…. but oh boy who’d ever use this?
