Scrapper's amount of healing
The healing is strong in this one, on top of the delicious blocks, evades and reflects. We are going to be nigh indestructible.
He is supposed to be a bruiser so he needs sustain. That’s also if you combo with waterfield and nothing else. 1 good daze from leap can save you 4k+ dmg as well
With Toolkit it will be cool to double block.
Some Gyros have potential to be cool (if Anet buffs them :P)

Exactly, you don’t always go for the water field. However, if you can survive another 10 seconds after you do the finisher in say a lightning field, you can then heal yourself in a waterfield for a hefty amount.
I guess you could add on super elixir, elixir shell, healing turret and regeneration. All of which are group wide.
Backpack regenerator can also be counted if you go alchemy.

Yeah hahah if we go all the way we could have a TON of healing
Question is what gear will scrapper go for if he;s more of a bruiser than assassin;p
Soldier + zerk 50/50 ?

I’d go full berserker like always. Now I get more sustain like eles so I am confident I won’t be risking a hell of a lot when I’m in wvw
Do leap finisher actually occur if you jump around in the field, never crossing the borders or only if you jump in and out of a field?

It occurs even if you keep staying in the field
Scrapper’s amount of healing (without healing power)
If you run “shocking speed” and “rapid regeneration” and do 3 leaps in a water field (hammer #3 on 10sec CD) you get an amount of healing equal to 5625 in 3 seconds.3 leap finishers in a water field = 3900
3 seconds of superspeed + swiftness = 1725I also plan on using “streamlined kits” toolkit effect and slick shoes (toolbelt – 5 secs of superspeed). And there are even more ways to get superspeed
I am so tempted to play the scrapper and find out how good it is !
You’re missing something pretty fundamental here,
Shocking Speed (3s Superspeed) only procs off of leaping or blasting a Lightning Field, not a Water Field like you are doing. So Shocking Speed is limited by the 10s ICD as well as limited by the amount of Lightning Fields you include in the build.
Personally, I’m definitely not going to be running Gyro heavy build with the Grandmaster dropping Lightning Fields on their death. Soooo. Unless you do, Shocking Speed is quite bad, at 3 seconds of Super Speed when using your Hammer #5 combo abilities on a 24 second gated cooldown.
This isn’t saying that a Scrapper’s healing won’t be a problem. It very well could be, with this triple leap business.

Oh right. However it doesn’t change the fact that scrappers can do 3 leaps in a water field and have superspeed at the same time.
