that it makes every other class in the game boring to play.”

So, after the awaited patch, we are still stuck with an Elite Spec Mechanic that:
- Is not visually interesting nor make the Scrapper stands out.
- Doesn’t change the way the Scrapper plays from the way the Engie plays.
- Has a bunch of basic UI problems.
- Is not useful on (more than) half the game.
- Depends on the players doing things wrong.
- Its used at most a couple times every play session.
- Is designed to be inferior to just doing it yourself.
- Is not reliable.
Meanwhile, mere utility skills out there get very interesting changes:
" Ranger
Search and Rescue: This skill has been reworked. It now commands your pet to teleport a nearby fallen ally to your location and then begin reviving them while granting regeneration to allies. "
IMO, this is like a very well polished, metal pointed, 5 kilograms biker’s boot in the face.
Please discuss. I would love to be proven wrong.
I had hope they are going to add something to the function gyro in this patch. But sadly there isn’t anything happening…. I think they just don’t have an idea what to do about it (even if we players gave MANY ideas for them).
Have they even said they plan on changing it? Personally, I’ll be sad to see him go. I like the double stomp in PvP and the rez in PvE is useful. Especially when someone downed in an area that’s unsafe.
Does it need improving? Yes. No need to target said ally would be nice. Additional stuff while it’s not being used would also be good. A passive effect perhaps? I love scrapper. Mainly the hammer. We shall see.
i want a function gyro upgrade and Decisive Renown replaced
The new version of function Gyro is bugged as far as I can tell. The gyro does not acquire the 2 stacks of stability as advertised in the description for the skill when sent to turn someone’s lights out.

That is not advertised. I think you are mixing up the old stabilization core’s ability.
Gyros were a lost cause from the start. But the function gyro kinda grew on me. Yea its nothing spectacular, but its servicale. The real feature here has always been the hammer.
On the bright side we got 10% added hammer dmg and some stab pretty much for free
Also people might finally stop hiding behind their sneak gyro.
Overall i like the changes, but i believe we should get nerfed (but only after rev and chrono get nerved some more).

Well function gyro dont even give you one stack now (should it?).
Regular gyros do give one stack, but the skill description also says that popping a gyro should give a second stack – it dont. So its really not working as advertised, hah.

Lol you are kidding right? Both of those classes got nerfed pretty bad yestrday, with it being a second round of nerfs for Rev, do you litterally want them to become unplayable pieces of meat for your satifaction? especially comin from a scrapper, a spec in no position to be complaining with a great amount of sustain/damage.
