Please significantly reduce the cooldown of our shield offhand spells.
Like 30-50% reduced without the trait.

EDIT:
Anyway, small explanation here:

The shield cooldowns are way to high to become an option as weapon.
Therefore I want to see them significantly lowered.

I like how you say that without giving us a reason to do so – mostly because it’s obvious WHY they should do something like this. I’d like to see more than just a drastic CDR on the shield tbh. I’d like to see some rework with the skills, more utility and defensive capability.

Maybe it’s also a problem that the pistol skills are lackluster. The auto attack still isn’t an explosive as promised, the aoe does still not cause bleed, poison dart volley still misses and is often almost no dps gain at all, would be nice if there would be some defensive utility (poison + weakness?) and skill 3 … well … that’s the only good one.

Rifle – #4 15 sec, #5 20 sec
Pistol – #4 15 sec, #5 30 sec
Shield – #4 30 sec, #5 40 sec
TK – #4 20 sec, #5 25 sec

now we get even more cd reduction to tk … why?

war shield – #4 20 sec, #5 25 sec
guard shield – #4 20 sec, #5 24 sec
revenant shield – #4 15 sec, #5 25 sec
mesmer shiel – #4 30 sec, #5 40 sec and having alacrity

so we need at least get minus 8-10 sec base from each shield skill for it at least to be an option

I found it obvious as well.
Added a small explanation to the opening post anyway.

back in the days, you know, we used shield and it was ok even when we stucked while blasting swiftness on the move

Times have changed though with HoT.
Shield needs improvements to become an option, so it can jump over to HoT.
