Guild Wars 2

So, I know how it goes with the engi in PVE, spec bombs or grenades and don’t think too much about it.

But what I really wonder if there’s any viable way to play with a shield, AKA a more tanky build, is there such an animal around?

when i pug, i always go p/s because i assume all pugs are terribads and use a support bomb build and use the shield for blast finishers. There are builds for that purpose and I would link one but i can’t atm. If its not linked when i get home I’ll link one for you

Shield has:
-Individual reflect
-AoE knockback/blast finisher
-Block
-Daze

These can be pretty handy.

Also, don’t discount the use of “anchors” who use bunker or support builds to help keep their party members up. Sometimes, I use healing to help, sometimes I use CC and defensive conditions to help, and sometimes I help by being tanky as kitten so I can rez allies with relative impunity.
