Come on Anet. Reduce the CDs already.

Imho it is not enough to reduce cd. Even in that case the damage output of pistol shield is too low compared to pistol pistol. Now Nades don’t work well with condition setup , bombs neither and FT is not that great so i don’t think that the cd reduction is enough

I actually like flamethrower, in wvw zerg fights it is wonderful for pushing and puttig pressure on enemy.

It has a low damage output and low range , except for his tool skill. Imho if you go 1 vs 1 it is quite weak . i prefer other kits, EG for example .

Swap pistol#4 with pistol#3 would be a great buff to shield without changing anything on the shield.

The shield needs a rework in terms of skills AND cool downs. I’d rather wait and see this happening than having some minor buffs that won’t change anything really :/

A good idea, ok but with the swap you lose 2 things with shield : 2 stacks of confusion and the blind. You add burning, but you have already burning from Incendiary Powder . In my opinion losing the blind of pistol 3 , with pistol shield, is in any case a great loss. For me the only solution should be to lower the cd of shield and buff the shield damage

I’d rather see the shield utility be buffed. Reflect domes, aoe stun (closer longer) and stuff like that. Maybe even an aoe pull on shield 5, like the opposite of 4. Not more damage, more defensive utility. The rifle should get more damage.

Of course shield has lower damage than offhand pistol. It’s meant to be a defensive equip.

imo shield is pretty good. It’s just there’s no main hand for it.
