Sitting Duck or Rifled Barrels?
I would drop Sitting Duck trait and take something like Rifled Barrels or Go for the Eyes, which one depends on your palystyle ofcourse. Sitting Duch is only 5% more damage during immobilize (2sec), so not worth it in my opinion.

Me too. since they nerfed blindness from kits (AHEM FT) instead of fixing them so they are on par with thieves, I’d suggest doing this and using the Elixir U toolbelt ability I use it alot and it helps. Especially with ranged enemies, nothing like killing a Risen with his own spells and occasionally I get the blindness effect from it so I can keep the enemy missing.
Rifles are great single target. If you find you are doing that alot I’d suggest using the blindness trait, rune of rage, and using the elixir U and net turret combo, keeps them far away, you can use the walls from the toolbelt U for added effect, and the net turret toolbelt ability gives you an extra net.
One of my favorite things to do as a finisher with the rifle is when all my other things to keep enemies back are on CD I wait for them to get close then I do 5, 3, 4 in that order. It does the AOE double attack, powershot with bleed, and knocks them back if any health is left. by that time my nets are back up.
Thanks for the replies! I think I’m gonna switch it out for Go For the Eyes, since I don’t really think Rifled Barrels would be too useful for me. Just wondering though, I know it says 50% of the time on crits for when it happens, but is that often enough to be useful? I haven’t had a high enough leveled character to know on my own, honestly.
Well I’m using crit build with rifle myself and crit chance goes atleast over 50% if you have exotics. + With static dischage build, every crit from any attack has a chance to proc it (doesn’t have to be rifle skill). So in your case you have lots of attacks so no problem.

Rifled barrels is very questionable yes. It would SEEM good..
but rifles only have 1 ability that gains from it.
Pistols 2, but really you want to be in 200-600 range with pistol, so no reason for +range.
EG gains the most, with 3 moves, of which all 3 are really good long range. although, 2 moves are very short range, and rifled barrels buffs the weaken, but shortens the bleed on EG 1.
all in all. if you are going rifle focus. 10% damage, 20% cooldown reduc, and go for the eyes blind are by far the best options. Vul on crit is a bit in frequent really. Purely group pve, ok the vul I guess. but solo pve, and pvp, the blind is better.
Thanks guys, I’m going to replace Sitting Duck with Go for the Eyes. I actually thought about a couple other changes as well, such as changed healing seed to healing turret, and mines into rocket turret, along with changing two of my traits to accommodate those changes.
