Slow heal skill that is easy to interrupt.
I feel it as a fine tradeoff for the medpacks and all the other utility that the 6 gives us. Independent condition removal and heals as well as swiftness/fury. Thieves are a bad comparison because they’re horribly broken and anet refuses to realize it.
Elixir H is even worse when it come to easy to interrupt, if you sneeze it get interrupt.
The medkit you pot on the ground give you 5% hp so its yea 10% of one hit back so now i just need 9 more before i get hit again…

Then use a healing turret. Drop the turret and detonate it once it sprays the water, it will combo for an additional heal. Also use the toolbelt skill and combo it with the shield 4 or other blast finisher.
I do not really have a problem with it failing unless I am CCed while it is channeling or it resets if I try to use a skill. I simply hold off on a skill for a second. But for the med packs, condition removal, and swifness/fury, I have no complaints about it.
Am getting more and more annoyed with F1 heal skill on Heal kit same with the other heal but then on 6, it can fail to easy, you can’t shoot you can’t dodge you dare not even change direction you run until it have gone true the animation and then ofc if the enemy fear you or something it fails and it feels like Guard/Warriors heal is not even close to fail as often. Have not tested any other class. Have no problem that it takes 2sec to get the heal but it should be so easy to interrupt.
That hid and other skills can be stopped is fine but heal should be so easy to stop especially when it feels like Engineers heal is the worst heal of all classes, thief and Mesmer they get back 80% hp when they use their heal and we get back 20%.
You exaggerate so many things that it makes it really difficult to listen to this as a valid complaint.
This game has a general interrupt bug design imo and it’s not just the healing skills. It becomes instantly noticeable on a thief when using sword and pistol. Any little movement takes me right out of these skills. It should not be a requirement of any skill to hold perfectly still. And skills that are the most important like healing should not be interruptable by “yourself” not by other’s interrupting you mind you but your own actions. I’ve played all three adventurer classes and each one has something that one can interrupt just by turning. seriously, turning is going to stop me from doing this skill? and when i say turning i don’t mean full on 180 I mean 45 degrees.
I agree our heals are weaker and often we don’t have the ability to reach the bandages littering the ground all over the place. I would love to see them also improve the amount healed when one is using +healing bonus armor. There’s a fundamental flaw with the bonuses +healing should be doing to the healing skills on the engineer with regeneration, kit regen, and bandages. It’s just not strong enough to handle multiple enemies but we’re supposed to believe that this class is made to fight multiples.

One of my biggest complaints with this game in general is power activation getting constantly interrupted. Not only by cc from other classes, but from your own actions for unknown reasons.
I’ve had a lot of issues with supply crate not dropping. It was the worst the other day when I had several exchanges with a thief that was after me. I had at least 5 different occasions where this guy was bursting me while I was trying to drop the elite on him. The sound would go off, I would actual see the crate drop on the ground, and then….nothing. No damage, no stun, no supplies. It’s idiotic that the activation could get that far and then be interrupted. I don’t know if it’s a latency issue or something, but extremely frustrating.

I blame that am wordblind so i allways write as short as i think i can with usale meen that i leave out something.
What i want is that you shouldnt be able to interruptable your own heals, i should be able to dodge, run left/right back/forward to try to get them to miss me without my heal failing.
This game has a general interrupt bug design imo and it’s not just the healing skills.
What did the reply say when you put the bug report in on this issue?
