I haven’t played PvP since the last big patch and before that I was running the typical bomb/nade 30/10/0/20/10 build, did the standard engi meta builds change much or can I still get away with some minor tweaks?

no that’s probably the best condi build though i prefer taking 10 out of firearms and putting it into alchemy for both protection injection and backpack regenerator.

There isnt really a “go-to” build for engineers these days. Many different engis have their own completely unique builds, but to start, you can look up:

Five gauges/chaith’s build
Teldos bomb build
30/0/0/30/10 p/s condi bunker.
30/10/0/30/0 HGH
Any static discharge build

the list goes on and on… enig is one of those classes with A LOT of viable builds.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the standard elixr-infused bomb bunker build lately, though there’s not a lot of people using it (not sure why). You can 1v1 and more often than not 1v2 any class with little effort. I once spent an entire PvP match against a ranger and a thief without dying (granted, the ranger was very bad and only auto attacked with shortbow). Downed once, but managed to pop a rez with Elixir R toolbelt. The only exception is other engineers, not sure why, but they really screw up this build (possibly because low vitality). It’s getting a pretty big buff in the next patch as well.
