Some new vids for Power Engi DPS
Wahoo! Nice rotation, I would like to mention a few things though:
- The average Fire Bomb deals 27k DpiScT, a normal aa only 20k, so make sure to spam it on cd, but not interrupting the aa. Best to use after another skill that isn’t the bomb aa, wich can’t be interrupted.
- Jump Shot is a DpS increase in theory, but even if you spam it on cd, it’s only ~100 more DpS and if use it while a bomb aa, Big Ol’ Bomb or Orbital is about to hit, those won’t recieve the “on movement” dps bonus. It’s not essentially a huge DpS difference to use or not to use so it’s a good filler or for a “break” though.
- Don’t trait the rifle just for the 2s cdr on Blunderbuss. More condition damage will outdamage that one easily.

Hey yea I’ve been using your numbers. But I started eye balling the numbers I was getting on bomb AA and Fire Bomb, it looked like AA was doing more damage when rocking the full condis&boons and then I did little bit more dps when I left it out (non conclusive obviously). I was thinking it is probably because of some extra modifiers for power damage that you might not have 100% in your calculations?
So in a real situation adding in the condi attack fire bomb is better because you might not have all of your Power modifiers up.
Or is fire bomb better even with max power modifiers on? What modifier do you have for the bomb kit?
Guess I’ll have to redo these xD
And hey what about the weapon damage the toolbelt skills use? Is it static or kit dependant?

Currently on my laptop, don’t have the document here Can give you the exact numbers when I’m home (weekend).
I did the numbers with the common “realistic” buffs everyone uses. So all the modifiers you normally have, with 8 conditions (for MA) – although I start think that there are more average condis on the enemy, when I check them in raids. :o
The big deal with Fire Bomb is – as mentioned – that you can interrupt your aa wich then leads to less dps ofc. Either you use it in the end of an aa, wich requires some attention, or you just use it after any other not-bomb-aa skill, wich can’t be interrupted.
If you’d have 0 cd, spamming bomb aa would lead to 20k realistic dps, spamming Fire Bomb 27k. It’s not a huge dps increase (<700), but it sure is more than Jump Shot for example :P If you face KC or VG (low armor) I wouldn’t bother using it though.
