completely unusefull and terrible design. I came back after months to game . Because i saw %50 reduction in video and got excited . Buuuutttt !!
We had %20 passive cd reduction for ALL gadgets before, and now i have to take hits (5!!) to get %25 cd reduction for only 1 gadget ??? Are you kidding me ?
Who the designer of this trait ? Can he or she think about how to desing a usefull trait ? I know you can do a good trait like adrenal implant or bunker down or aim assisted rocket etc . But this trait dissapointed me too much
What do you think my friends ? Am i wrong ?
Well it should be noted that it also buffs the gadget you use.
Rocket boots: makes it a 1200 leap
Slick Shoes: Increases Radius to 90
Throw Mine: Explosion and Proximity Radius increased to 300/180
Utility Goggles: Adds 3 stacks of might
PBR: Now launches 600
AED: Now lasts 8 seconds instead of 5
So it not only decreases the cooldown but makes it better, not sure if you knew that, could not tell from your post. However I personally have not really found it useful, I usually op for adrenal, but the some of the buffs it does is decent, looking at goggle might and aed duration.

I leveled my engi to 80 about 2 weeks ago. tried gadget build and was like ugh …..

I have a full gadget kitless build I use, mostly for funsies since anyone who knows anything knows that kits are the thing to know…
Anyhow, I have to say I enjoyed the 20% flat reduction much better. I used to set up a nice thing with the mine granting aegis every 14 seconds, but that’s gone… Instead I get a slightly larger trigger radius, so instead of people completely avoiding the mine, now they’ll only slightly miss it… yay…
It kind of has the same issue kit refinement has. Too inconvenient to control what it procs on. Maybe I want the 1200 leap on rocket boots, but I need to use my heal. Well, there go my charges.
I haven’t played around with my all gadget kitless build too much yet though, still tweaking it a little. Trying to get those AMR→A.E.D. combos, although I would again just prefer the 20% flat reduction across the board.
Obviously that trait is useless in any serious build though, but that’s partly due to more than one gadget being more or less useless in any build.
at the moment gadgets are realy weak, i hoped they pimped them somehow but the didnt they should change the Master Trait to 50% Cooldown reduction this would help

I think the idea is to play around it passively rather than actively. Should you get hit 5 times, here’s a skill that will skadoosh your opponent or something like that. And if you’re using gadgets, you’re definitley going to get hit more than 5 times.
