Don’t you hate we have to use the dam “\” to unequip the med kit in PvE? just how does it ruin the combat?

Now that we can use the might sigil we can’t use it properly.

(don’t turn this into a rant topic please)

About this… what other skills do you guys feel that make the general “combat” significantly slower? aside from jump-shot which is more backfire than actually a risk-reward thingie?

while im confused a bit by your approach, i am veeery confused by your problem, as there is no problem with equipping or unequipping the kit. but then again i change kits via mousebuttons, so i have no idea what you are trying to accomplish …

I dont get it either. What seems to be the problem?
Click a mouse button to swap to Medkit and click another Kit-button to swap away from it.
You probably mean, you can’t just swap back to your ‘main weapon’, right?

Look at it this way, if you are running Speedy Kits, it’s super easy to keep it up with one keystroke/mouse click instead of clicking twice (missing it half of the time, cause you are too quick to click and the CD prevents you from swapping correctly, so you’re clicking twice again).

This is one of the most negligible issues Engineers have, to be honest.
Also: ‘Slow combat’ is one of the things that is good for many Engineers playstyles.
Keeps you more in control of the whole action in my experience.

Med Kit usage doesn’t trigger “stow med kit” skill, making my reactions slower and forcing me to go for the \ button ultimately making a 5s fury buff last about 3s (the time you take to switch out of the kit, back to your main weapon in order to use it effectively).

Yea wanted to switch back to rifle, ‘coz that keeps you more in control and helps running away to keep the distance while doing ranged damage, also, because of unretained stats, in order to take the might stacks to full usage I’m bound to get back to the main weapon, say I’m a static discharge build, I lose a LOT of numbers by switching kits on the toolbelt.

All that time wasted to stack might is plenty sub-par to a “don’t switch the kit to get might build”, ’coz you may as well just auto-atk to make up for the buff in damage.

I wanted to remind others to keep the topic constructive, we all know that engi’s bug list is the longest and we have no dev response.

Btw I feel more like the engi should be able to throw out all the possible skills if the situation requires it, slower plays are only meant for net shot + BoB users imo, they are ok skills, but they don’t make the game, especially in PvE where you can’t fight one mob at a time reliably

In spvp you can stow the med kit.
In pve or WvW you can’t… not by the same button.

Maybe those saying there is no problem only spvp nd never noticed.
