Can somebody explain me how Static Shield skill works ?

The cast time is 1,5 sec and animation last 1,5 sec but it say that u get block for 2 sec.

I think that block last 1,5 also because u dont block when the animation is over.

Somebody knows ?

i checked it out, and the block duration is actually 2 seconds. i honestly dont know what the 1.5 seconds means…

Not entirely sure, but maybe 1.5 seconds of the block stuns, last .5 or first .5 is just a block?

You have 1.5s to activate stun, but the block lasts 2s.

I think it may also mean that you only have 1.5 seconds to decide if you want to throw the shield, although the block will last up to 2 seconds if you don’t throw the shield. Something like that. Haven’t really tested it though.

The tooltip is a bit odd in this regard though. Would just make sense to have it list a 2 second cast time. If you look at something like shield stance, it lists a 3 second cast time for a 3 second block.
