Hi guys !
I’ve noticed something strange with these 2 skills :
If you swap to a kit AND use a skill from this kit while the shield (or the wrench) is still travelling between you and your target, the shield/wrench won’t come back.
This mean, if you’re too fast (apm too high), you’ll get only ONE hit on you target instead of two with this 2 skills…. so you’re wasting half of the skill 
Is it a bug or is it intended ?
EDIT : well now I can’t reproduce the “bug” anymore…..
Have you ever seen this thing ? the wrench which disappears ?

The wrench used to be unaffected by terrain. If it hit a wall it would simply ride up the wall to its max range, then come back. The shield was inconsistent, sometimes it would come back if it hit something, sometimes not. Sometimes it would go through the wall. This was awhile ago. Since then, they have purposefully made it so if either of these “boomerang” skills hits any kind of interference they will simply disappear and not come back.
well it can hit a wall… and well you know how terrain can bug out for mesmer/thief blinks? maybe its the same thing? hits little bump and fizzles?
Ok, so when it hits something like a wall or the ground, it disappears ?

Yeah they did it a while back since people were throwing shields through tower and keep doors. It’s unfortunate since it doesn’t really do any damage, but if it’s an exploit then I guess they had to take it out. It used to be that you could put up static shield and swap kits as well, so I’d put that up and have free melee guard (2 second stun!) while you resed someone or when you were doing a slow spike setup. Guess we have to adapt though haha.
