i run a bomb build with tool kit and elixir gun, i love my build. But what im not really sure of is if i have the best stats for the build, im mainly using bomb kit and switch to tool kit and elixir gun when the situation arises. and i switch to my dual pistols if im stacking confusion. I run Power toughness and vitality on my main pieces of armor and precision toughness and power on my accessories. yes i know im not running condition damage and thats what my question is, should i change out some of my stats for something else?

I use a mix between rampager and carrion trinkets. I just aimed for a balance between vitality and precision that I’m comfortable with.
Like you, I have a PvT armor set, but I have a spare carrion set in case I want to do a bit more condition damage.

I’m not saying this is the best solution since I don’t know how your traits are set up and there are plenty of other stat combo’s out there that can work.
Power and condition damage work great with bombkit, that’s all I can say.
Since you are using dual pistols I’d recommend looking into condition damage no matter what.

that does help, i wonder, is there a set of armor with power condition damage and toughness out there? i’d be willing to give up precision if there is a set of gear with that on it, i just mean trinkets tho, dont wanna give up my pvt armor

There is no power/condi/toughness statcombo.
Carrion is power/condi/vit and rabid is prec/condi/toughness.

There is a power/condi/magic find combo, but that’s pretty much useless.

Why do you want toughness so bad?
Extra vitality will help you deal with armor ignoring damage such as conditions, so carrion is pretty good.

mainly its because if i have alot of vitality i wont be able to heal it back real well, since i have very little healing power, so i always found that i was able to keep myself up better with a higher toughness while keeping my health around 20k
