[Suggestion] Elixier X
So… you think that is ever going to happen ?
So instead of as kill we might instantly leave 50% of the time we should have a skill that essentially kills us and loses the fight?
Should rename this post title to [Massive Unwarranted Nerf] Elixir X

Moa doesn’t kill you and this is why I gave 2 possible suggestions. The second version can be made a rather safe cast if you include stealth or stability into your build or time it correctly in 1vs1s.
I’ve always hated elixir x stylistically “you’re an elite engineer, now you can become a mesner warrior or a elementalist…”
I think the elixir should fuse you with your weapons and random scraps of metal as armor like that guy in full metal alchemist that could cover his body in gun barrels, if you have a rifle you turn into a borg looking machine with a big rifle cannon on your back, two pistols makes you a fast moving and gives you two rapid fire hand cannons, a shield makes you slower and bulkier but more tankier and a hammer turns you into something like a golem

This is an elite skill, not some 3rd party clown skill that you just laugh it off..
Proper Change:
- Replace Tornado with Lich Form.
- Increase cooldown to 150s.
Or become the Legendary Llama or Rabbit and OHKO people.

I do not like the suggestion at all.
Anet should start with buffing the tornado a little. rampage gives 20k extra health tornado only 10k. Ramapage also gives 25% incomming damage reduction, chill cripple immobilize duration reduction and the tornado doesn’t according to the wiki. Making the #2 and #3 skill hit 3 people would also help alot.
It still pains me to this day that ANET balanced giving Engineers a Warrior elite by giving it a 50% chance to be a Elementalist elite.

80 Necromancer (IRNY), 80 Guardian (IRNY)
GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.

It used to be a 33% chance. It also had the ability to be Plague. Now Plague form is only underwater.

How about 2 separate elixirs for both the different forms?
How about 2 separate elixirs for both the different forms?
Then it would just be exact copies of the other classes elites in the form of elixirs?
It is okay if you guys don’t like my suggestion. I just HATE what it does right now (beside the toolbelt). Then just create a new thing for the elixir, his own thing.
Is it THAT hard to come up with 5 new skills? You do this all the time for some custom brawl potion.
This is a suggestion that I made all the way back in 2012, lol.

Something like this is pretty much what it needs.
RNG is horrible for Competetive play. I’ve seen entire tournaments getting decided on Elixir X becoming Rampage or Tornado. That feels horrible for the winner, the loser and the viewers.
I don’t understand how ANet can think this game will succeed as an E-sport when it’s so heavily based on RNG. Just look at League of legends, since they started to get big they have eliminated RNG by removing evade as a stat and made crit average out based on crit chance instead of beeing pure RNG (if your crit rate is not matching your crit chance, the game will compensate you with crits/non-crits).
Guild Wars 2 is still flooded with RNG, from crit chance to on-proc traits, but Elixir X is truly the worst offender I’ve ever seen in any “competetive” game.
Elixir X (and Elixir U to some degree) are also completly ruining class identity. Whenever I use Elixir X or Toss Elixir U I don’t feel like an Engineer, I feel like I’m playing a modded in class from some fans who could not design their own spell effects or gameplay elements.
