I believe it would be cool to see engineers play as healers since the current allies healing skills is garbage (excluding healing turret) i don’t see why not add a whole weapon kit that will help you heal and support your allies in cost of dealing damage/ inflicting conditions, however i have this set of skills that will only replace the engineers first three weapons slots (new idea so you can carry a shield/pistol in your off hand) so here is the skills that i suggest:

1- healing mist:
Spray a mist that heals allies (will not heal you).

Healing per pulse: 150+(0.5 of healing power)
number of pulses: 6
number of targets: 3
if you heal allies with all the 6 pulses you will be healed for 25% of the same amount
(that means if you healed three allies each for 1000 you will be healed for 750)

Cast time: 3 sec (half a second for each pulse)


2- launch elixir E:
launch an elixir that will heal all allies in the area of impact and give them regeneration or protection or swiftness.

Healing on impact: 600+(0.5 of healing power)
regeneration: 10 sec
protection: 4 sec
swiftness: 6 sec

cool down: 10 sec


3- Healing bomb:
Throw a bomb at your feet that will heal you and blind enemies (will not heal allies).

Healing amount to self: 1500+(0.6 of healing power)

Cool down: 45 sec (high cool down since the kit doesn’t replace your healing skill)


Tool belt: You will heal yourself and gain 3 random boons.

Healing amount: 1500+(0.6 of healing power)

I know the idea is not polished but i want you to look at the concept, please comment anything you like.

Cool idea, also you can build healing engie even now.
Well engineer can have tons of healing per second with right build.

Bombs + Elixir gun + Healing turret + regeneration can heal sick ammount of health per second.
One you remove conditions with Healing Turret, Flumigate (5 condi removal per 12 sec.), Super elixir.
Two you have Huge burst heal of blasting healing turret *3.
Three you have heal from every tick of bomb (fire bomb, smoke bomb, glue bomb ticks 4 times), super elixir, perm regeneration. It about 400+337+370= 1100 hp per second. Amount of heal per second can double or even more if you keep spamming with all bombs.
Numbers can be even more absurd if you go PvE with apothecary gear.
So even now if you want to be a healer, you can! But don’t expect to do much damage.

The other part is that GW2 healing builds doesn’t work good becouse of spike damages.

I run a similar build in GvGs. Using celestial though, and not clerics. Fumigate is one of the most under rated skill in our kitten nal. Clearing up to 45 conditions, applies AoE poison up to 45 stacks optimally, and 45 stacks of vulnerability.
