Guild Wars 2

The mortar kit is a welcome addition to the Engi kitten nal, but the visual representation is quite lackluster. I think it should be fitting to overhaul that into something else… but what?

a back mounted howitzer?
a shoulder mounter patriot launcher?
a Stingray Rocket Launcher?
a Grenade Launcher (with colored cartridges)
a Charrzooka (shoulder mounted)
a Trebuchet? (back mounted and foldable)

I think that will give more flavor to the skill and make it noticeable, right now the mortar looks like a low level blunderbuss.

PS: If you make an iron man armor outfit that interacts with engi kits, i don’t care if you make it 5000 gems, i will buy it.

id just want to have this… but yeh.. so far its not gonna look good. After the kit visual changes it went veeeeery silent arround the theme from the devs. So what now? Are they placeholders or final?

Now I want to create a macro that yells, “Horrik! Unleash the Cannons!” every time I equip the Mortar Kit.

I am pretty happy with the way the mortar kit looks right now.

I like how Horrik holds it, but that would work badly with Asura. Maybe they could make it more like how Tristana in League of Legends holds her cannon (example) or how Spartans hold Missile pods in Halo 3 (example)

or at least make us fire our rifles from the shoulder.
We are not warrior savages to shoot from the hip.

All I’d like would be for the Mortar to not look like a white quality 1 copper salvage item and I’d be happy. The flamethrower looks amazing since launch, so why this Mortar look?

The item’s a grenade rifle. Make it a MGL with the cylinder magazine and all.

Gattling gun instead of Mortar. Thoughts?

I expected the mortar to be something like this, and I agree the visuals are very underwhelming.
