Whenever I lose health on my Engi, it feels really hard to regain it. I run P/P with Toolkit and Elixers. I’ve been trying a Sigil of Blood but it’s just not enough. What tricks do you have for sustain?

I main Ele and Necro, though I have an alt of each profession at level 80.

I use Sigil of Water, carry the Healing Turret and a shield. On crits with the Sigil, I have a 30% chance to heal (though I can’t actually recall it ever healing me…), and I make heavy use of Blast Finishers such as detonations and the shield bubble thing.

I use medkit and almost always fully regen with F1+meds on ground.

If concerned about sustainability, I would stay away from elixirs. Go with the Elixir Gun.

I would also stay away from the Healing Turret, as that is better for group support than self-sustainability. The Med Kit is far better at that with Drop Bandages along with Bandage Self, the latter of which scales by Healing Power far better than the Healing Turret does.

I would personally have to disagree with the bandages.

The turret provides a burst heal on a 20 sec cool down, which is roughly a 6-7k (With healing power I think) burst heal PLUS removing 3 conditions and giving regen, also the toolbelt provides another water field so you can blast heal some more, the problem with the med kit I find is that it’s too slow, you have to place the kits down then pick them up. Another thing is that your team can blast heal your water field for more healing, so I think it’s better all around.

Don’t get me wrong, they have their use putting kits down pre-emptively but they just don’t provide the reliable sustain that the healing turret does imo, could argue that they’re better for roaming? (Though personally I’d still take turret)

Try packaged stimulants , those babies are a godsend.
