So according to the Dulfy balance preview summary, Takedown Round is getting a damage boost. So I was curious as to how it actually worked as I hadn’t used it in a long time. It’s actually not bad damage wise, and a little bump wouldn’t hurt, but what I did find bad was that it was easily avoided negating it’s use entirely. It’s because of this that I was wondering what if they made the trait similar to the thief’s rupture or even engi speargun 4, where it applies a “buff” then blows up X second(s) later. I think this change might increase it’s use in builds as right now it seems rarely used.

What do you guys think?

They have that buff functionality with Timed Charge on the harpoon gun. I don’t think this would be a bad idea as long as you could dodge it when it’s about to go off.

Another thing is that the delay is actually 2 seconds instead of the 1 second shown on the tooltip.

I like this idea a lot from the OP. It (Take Down Round) places a status on the target that procs after a 3s timer that does decent damage in a 240 radius around the target, hitting 5 targets. If the detonation hits more than one target it does double damage OR inflicts 10 stacks of vulnerability for 4s on each struck target.

Ditch the target has to be above 50% hp bit.

Whatever happens i hope they actually buff it this time instead of nerfing aim assisted rocket by 30% instead like last time.
