So, if it’s an issue of finding the real one, everyone should learn to turn off everything but player nameplates, real mesmer always visible unless a clone is almost directly in the middle of your screen. Done.

There the secret is out!

What’s the point? Usually spotting the real mesmer is quite easy and even if it wasn’t,
I’d rather play the game like it was meant to be played rather than manipulating the UI in order to make the fight against a mesmer easier.

I can already see into the future…

• Fixed a loophole in the game settings that allowed the Mesmer to be revealed.

The point is. . . people complain about Mesmer being difficult to find all the time, and yet it’s easier than anything else, and easier by far by using the game’s design to help you even further. Besides, who likes to see the nameplate of every ambient creature in the game?

… this needs to be fixed, real mesmers are easy to see anyway; they attack faster than clones, dodge, heal, use utilities, use weapon skills, move anywhere not straight at you
