Q:
The lack of trait synergy
Which traits and skills are you refering to?
I know bombs and grenades are not everything, but the traits really complet each other.
The gyros on the other hand, does not work well with the current traits.
In that we will maybe not use them much in pve or pve. Specially when there are other utility skills that offer so much more.
That is the main reason I have been using my kits more then anything.
The hammer looks good but apart from that. The gyros seems not to be a great idea, and more of a rehashed idea of a last minute of brainstorming.
Honestly I feel as though your right with the trait synergy, but i wouldnt say gyros are a bad idea. Like rangers we kind of lacked team support in a way. Elixirs offer some but imo it wasnt amazing cause i doubt people used them with team support on the brain and just did it for might stacks and some condi removal.
Tomorrow wel see if anything changes for trait synergy.
I know that the explosive traits is not the best, and some of the traits could have a makeover, but at least the bomb/grenade kit work off like the firearms traits.
The gyros even if they are not the best idea in the world, they should at least have some trait synergy, or they could become really useless. A wee bit like the turrets
I’m not going to reroll a class to be able to enjoy a more fleshed out character. And that makes me loose the interest of purchasing the expansion. T-T

Did a quick lookover the core traits to see if i could come up with anything, still nada.
-Besides some swiftness stuff that would go with Rapid regen.
-Medic Gyro that can work with Recovery matrix.
Im starting to feel like the scrapper trait line is just stacking ontop of our core class. So we get benefits instead of synergy if that makes sense >_<
Still that does limit the options of a already limited trait/skill system.
Its not that limited xD…maybe…
