Rifle w/ Energy/Accuracy, Heal Turret-Rifle Turret/Tool Kit/Thumper Turret-Supply Crate

Runes of Scholar/ Berserker’s or Celestial Amulet

Highlights

  • 50%+ Crit Chance
  • 206%crit damage
  • Up to 2k auto attack from 1200
  • 4 knockbacks,1 pull, 1 stun,1 launch
  • High healing through multiple blast finishers
  • Deal the damage of a melee class at a long range

With Celestial Amulet you deal slightly less damage but are tougher to kill, its better to play berserker’s though because killing the enemy is better support than surviving regular attacks, plus you have access to snares/CC, blast finisher heals, and a block on a 16s cooldown

I have had lots of success with this build (this maybe because of the influx of new players) even against necros and spirit rangers.
They cant defend their AI’s well and once they are dead, the main target is much weaker, Auto attacks and suprise shots/Static discharge can quickly kill their AI.
Even with Celestial amulet you are still not tough enough to tank, the only reason you should get close to the enemy is to interrupt enemies, especially when they go for revives since you can knock them back multiple times.

The key to winning fights is to engage on the enemy rather than the other way around, you never want to be the one ambushed since sneaking up on the enemy gives you time/space to put out your combo’s. Even against heavy armor you can crit for 1.5k on your auto attacks. The tankiest opponents can still be killed as long as you are not the focus of damage

If you are ambushed,

  • break stun with thumper turret toolbelt if you are stunned
  • swap to toolkit, use block skill and suprise shot
  • If they are ranged, pull them with toolkit or stun them with supply drop, then launch them with the 4th rifle skill, then net shot and auto attack/suprise shots
  • If they are melee, swap back to rifle and use the launch skill, then net shot and then start auto attacking/suprise shots

When you are assaulting a point, you can walk into it using the toolkit block, then rely on your turrets to push the enemy off the point
Realize that other players play this roaming dps role and its always best to kill them first (look for players shooting from the outside of points)

There is only one god and its name is nerf. There is only one thing we say to nerf, not today
