So I’ve seen many engineers use throw wrench in combination with a field in 1v1s, often the light field from super elixir.
I am sure alot of you already know this but for those of you how don’t; The throw wrench (which is a combo finisher Projectile) will not remove a condition from you. However, Super elixir (elixir gun #5) does remove 1 condition where it lands.
Throw wrench used on a water field does not (to my knowledge) give the caster any regen.
So if you’re gonna use the throw wrench on a field, then do it on a fire field or something else. Unless you’re grouped.

Have you actually tested that the condi removal and the regen doesn’t work? Because the contrary has been said.

I did test it right Before I made the thread. No condition was removed nor any regen applied.

But of cours we should consider what others have to say. If someone can prove me wrong that’d be great!
