So, does this mean we can get swiftness via speedy kits while carrying hammers/wisps/other-things-people-yell-at-you-if-you-drop?

It means that if you are running around carrying a warrior summoned banner and then change your slot7 from grenade kit to elixir S the banner won’t be destroyed (which is what sometimes happened before – bug).

Now either you can change utility freely or some of them cause you to drop the bundle. For example crystals in arah are dropped if you swap to elixir s and utility goggles but you don’t drop them if you change to bomb kit or grenade. More testing is needed but as usual the change is buggy.

i noticed this bug 2 days ago when i was holding a torch in icy fractal and i switched bombs for toolkit… no more torch!

i dont know what the extent of it was but hopefully its behind us now…

Woot, wont have to worry about destroying items anymore when swapping kits always had to worry about that when doing arah.

This is a pretty amazing fix, which has irked me forever.

In dungeons in which you had to pick up interactibles, you could quite literally screw over your entire group if you weren’t aware of the bug and changed skills while holding.

Now engineers can actually volunteer to run things like the other classes!

Tarnished Coast Engineer and… general alt-o-holic.
