Hi, so I’m new to Engineers (and game) and I’ve played a flamethrower build recently and I think I’m starting to understand it, but I recently unlocked the tool kit and I’m having fun with that so I’m curious, what exactly does the tool kit do? I know flamethrower uses condition damage a lot but what does the tool kit offer?

it offers a lot

  1. Auto-attack might be a little slow but it hits like a truck
  2. Decent snare
  3. Does a lot of damage, and applies confussion
  4. This block is amazing and on a fairly short cool down
  5. Too much fun pulling enemies to you!

toolbelt: this skill is actually amazing, it hits hard, and it can hit enemies multiple times (anyone running away from you usually gets hit 3-4 times)

I think the toolkit goes best with power builds, and it offers good damge CC as well as defense
