This thread is dedicated to answering and clarifying questions and issues that new and unexperienced engineer-players may have about their class.

I came up with this to reduce the amount of all the threads, asking already-100-times-discussed stuff, so the subforum remains clearly structured and easy to access for everybody.
I will try to look into this thread as often as I can, and if a unsolved question should be present, I’d be more than happy to see clear and precise answers from my fellow engineer vets’ as well.

If you have a question about the engineer, please follow these simple rules to keep up maximum visibility and clearance of this thread:

I have an engineer question too. How does a turret engineer that’s totally meta and best build to use in pvp because it’s super op and with great mobility..deal with people just ignoring the node you drop your npcs on? I’m talking about the popular 00662 without accelerant packed turrets, rifle or thumper. Which of the elixir gun or pistol autoattacks benefit more from balthazar runes?

Just change the “de” at the front of the address to “en”

This particular build is not meant as bunker, but as support, so you’d drop your turrets on contested points, help your team to take it and then pick them up and drop them on the next point.
Also balthazar does not increase your regular attacks’ effectiveness but supports its own proc from the healing turret and grants the flame turret perma-burning on its own, without further traits or sigils.
Usual turrets to go with a 00662 build would be flame/thumper or flame/rocket or flame/rifle, depending on what your teams profits most off: additional cc, additional dps or additional fury uptime.
But to support its use, a 00662 build would choose runes of altruism to fill its nicheé most effectively.
