Tpvp/Spvp Turret Build in WvW
Well, a few things.
In WvW, the build would be extremely hard to play in all the situations you might find yourself in.
Your turrets don’t move. So zerging is a pain and they melt and they do too little and too dumb of damage.
The reflective shield can be great for protecting siege from ranged casters but that is a limited function at best (as in swap into it when you need it).
Elixir S will often get changed for something like rocket boots or e-gun for more utility and faster resets (you often need to reset more times and for longer than 3 seconds).
In short, I have yet to see a good turret build for wvw as it just lacks versatility and the ability to damage while maneuvering.
If you are not weapon swapping, getting a stacking rune is fairly good as an option.
Turrets work when you control the fight (either because of a point or because of PvE mob behavior) and when there is limited spam that will kill the turrets (same issue with a ranger pet in WvW).
Turrets won’t work in WvW against anyone with half a brain. Most roaming builds are built for getting in and out of situations quickly, which is what turrets are weak against. Static builds generally don’t fare very well.
Enemy Thieves/Eles/Engis/Mesmers/Warriors have no problem waiting outside of turret range and/or baiting you out (or even moving on to find someone else to fight). There’s also a big chance you’ll get overrun by a zerg while waiting for them to engage you.

Only situation I can see them actually working is defending a tower/keep from a ninja cap (2 or 3 enemies). In open field fights it would be really easy for your opponents to either range them or lure you away from them since they don’t have to fight on point.

You could always take deployable turrets and throw them on top of the walls during seiges. It can allow you to put some pressure on arrow carts and such, although it will be minimal at best. If nothing else, it’ll just annoy the people up there. I suppose you could maybe combine it with APT to try and knock people off though.

Not to mention, the trait you use in a turret build, would greatly benefit the use of dropping supply crate on the wall too.
