Hello engineer enthusiasts,since it’s proven in this world that Viper, Marauder, Celestial work quite well.

How viable is Trailblazer stat for Engineer?

Pls do share your thoughts and ideas and refrain from the “omaigash reaper so OP for condi, why even bother going condi Engi?” “Viper or GTFO”

Current build for messing around in WvW. The general idea is to melt opponents while tanking. Antitoxin seems nice to swap instead.

Current build as a Condi-Tank messing around for VG. Not ideal but yeah. I switch to trailblazer/sinister/viper’s amulet from time to time.

its a good replacement for any dire gear. which sees use in wvw.

yesterday at gorseval i switched my hope to trailblazer (along with switching sinister trinkets -> rabid) to pump up my toughness to ~1500 for tanking. worked nicely, lost no condi duration or damage, so (against his heavy armor) i wasnt doing all that much less dps.

a couple comments on your vg tank build:

• trade bursting for geomancy
• are you getting much use out of glass cannon?
• im no fan of static discharge, but vg has no cc
• fractals for a rabid back!
• youre overcapping condi duration by 20%, so either go berserker runes, 5 nightmare / viper orb and trade toxic crystal for 6/4 focusing crystal, or take geomancy/bursting and use 6/4 focusing crystal. im not sure what the best choice here is, but since you are a tank i think itll be one of the options with changing to 6/4 crystal.
