Naw man, Trogdor ain’t got time for WvW or PvE, he is a *sPvP*er at heart.
No tPvP, tPvP is serious business and Trogdor better stay off it.

That was a quick one.

Now, Trogdor admits that your build is good, but there are a couple of issues that he doesn’t like.
Deadly Mixture with 2095 Attack is generally a bad idea.
Automated Response is very trollish-y, so Trogdor likes it, but with low, “rabid” health pool, is not so useful.

Burn duration runes are good, but 10s protection + burn everyone around you every 60 seconds, + 20% protection duration are too good to pass.

So Trogdor will for now stay with his original build. Maybe Juggernaut instead of Hair Trigger? That may be a good idea.

+30% burn duration on a burn build /or 12s protection + one AOE burn every 60 secs
Your choice Trogdor!
Though i concede deadly mixture isnt much use.

SO remove 10% duration sigil replace with Sigil of Fire (not technically a burn but keeps in theme) aoe fireblast on crit

NEXT replace Flame Turret with Bomb Kit – i know you loose the throw napalm but its so much handier and still has FIRE BOMB -low cooldown combo firefield.
ALSO bomb kit has access to smoke bomb for AOE blind – add in Smoke Vent from flamethrower and replace deadly mixture with acidic coating and you have lots of blinds
(Also bombkit has the awesome big old bomb which is trolltastic)
Im keeping Automated response though cause its mainly for the +30% boon duration for might stacks and still helps you last longer/outlast which is what you’ll need with a burn build

I’ve been running a burn build in pvp for a while and have been using this build.

I took coated bullets because I’m using pistols most of the fight, only throwing in couple skills (2-4) from ft when it looks appropriate. The reason for elite supplies is simply because extra heals. The extra medkits really help towards holding a cap.

Normally I would run this build for every map, however, I switch out rocket boots for bomb kit whenever the map changes to skyhammer. Shooting yourself off the side of a cliff isn’t smart, and big ol’ bomb is a great skill for that map anyway!

Imo the aoe burn isn’t that great considering its a 60s cd between each burn, which, iirc, is only 5s burn. With the extra duration, your skills pretty much inflict more than 5s extra altogether and if its not cleansed you can inflict everlasting burns.

I’m going to try this on my Engi. Heaven knows I try stupider stuff on my Necro.

Plus, FIRE!!!!!111!1!!

What would be really crazy is setting ppl on fire, then keeping them dazed. “Eat that, Necromancer!” Rwowr! Oh, wait, Necro is my main.

Note to OP. Work on perma-daze build.
