Guild Wars 2

Hey guys!
So far really enjoying the engi class! Tried a couple of other classes, but somehow I always keep coming back home to my engi
I have two questions though, sorry if they have been asked before:

1. Why when I use Toxic Dart Volley (or w/e the pistol’s 2nd skill is called) my hit chance seems all over the place? sometimes I hit all of the shots, sometimes I hit like 2.. Tried to see if its connected somehow to moving, but doesn’t seem like it.

2. If I have Flamethrower in my utility, and I have my Flame shots tool belt skill – So say I apply it and I use my pistol’s autoshot to stack the fire, if the pistol explodes on the target and hit multiple targets, will all of them be burned or only the target I targeted? (by the flame shot tool belt I mean).

In terms of question 1) my experience has been that the further away you are from the target, the less accurate your dart volley seems to get. If I am at the extreme range of my pistol, I might hit once, but when I am right on top of my enemy, I can often hit all 5… I could be way wrong, but that has been my experience so far.

As to your number 2 question, I couldn’t tell you, I don’t use the flame thrower much lol.
