Since a few threads are brainstorming on next gen weapons, how ’bout if the engi invents, for lack of better words, a set of techno arm guards, boots/pants linings, and body circuitry that are worn over armors instead of handheld.

Example of possible skills
- Power punches — auto attack
- Punch/Kick combo — high damage on cooldown
- Power kick — leap, high damage ae attack or both (gap closer)
- Magnetize/Demagnetize — AE pull/push, kinda like magnetic bomb/BOB combo.
- Rollerball — We get encased in a ball of forcefield and we roll away super speed w/ knockdown.

Maybe they can also give us 2 flavors – one for melee, one for range. So instead of power punch, auto attack could be a power ray, like druid staff 1 except we’re shooting them like Iron Man or Doctor Doom. They can also allow for optimization for power or condi use.

This could be something unique enough for the engi lore and not just a counterpart of what’s already available for sword-and-sorcery professions.
