Guild Wars 2

Since the sept buff, i want to know whats the current best build for flamethrower. Ive read HGH with rabids gear, HGH with berserker and strength runes, and more. My current set up is HGH ft with rampager gear with runes of the flame legion with smoldering and fire sigil. Basicly 2 second burns for a total of 1.2k damage and 1.2k burn dmg per jet.

I only use the flamethrower (‘using’ as in ‘staying with the flamethrower for more than just pressing 2 and 4 before switching to another kit’) for map exploration and open world events tagging mobs and autoattacking between other weapons’ heavy hitting skills but a build like this (feel free to replace elixirgun with utility googles, rocket boots or elixir b) is really fun to play and with Juggernaut, might on weapon-(kit-)switch, might on crit and BigOldBomb/Flamethrower #2/Elixir Gun #4/Healing Turret detonation used in the bombkit’s firefield you don’t need HGH for constantly running around with 22-25 stacks of might. :-D

There is no usefull FT focused build for PvE if you dont want something for running on world events and tag everything for loot there is FT perfect. You can use FT as part of rotation with other kits but imo its still not worth a slot even with buff.
