Whats your Sigil setup?
I use pistol/shield and ran sigil of earth and sigil of ice, until I realized they share a cooldown and conflict with each other, so I switched the sigil of ice for a sigil of accuracy.

bhansen, do you have a source that says the AoE of sigil of fire scales with AP? I’ve been running your config as well, but wasn’t so sure.
Netsu, that would mean two sigils of earth wouldn’t make sense either right?

Two sigils of earth means a higher chance to bleed (because even if the first sigil fails the 60% chance you get a second roll for the second sigil) but you won’t be able to get two separate bleeds because they share a cooldown.

Thanks.
What the cooldown on the sigils by the way?
Edit: Hold on, if the first sigil fails… then its the first sigil for the next shot again, isn’t it?
So it doesn’t make sense to have two sigils of earth. The second sigil would be rendered useless (if they share one CD).
It doesn’t raise your chance to bleed for every shot, because if one shot doesn’t trigger sigil A, the next shot could… or is there some hidden CD in effect, that triggers when a sigil ‘fails’ as well? I’m puzzled… I thought there is effectively NO cooldown for a sigil ‘failing’, so basically a sigil can’t ‘fail’ the chance for the effect of the sigil is rolled each time you shoot, isn’t it?

Both sigils have a chance to trigger upon critical and the cooldown start when one of them does. As far as I remember the cooldown is 5 seconds.
So assume you score a critical, first you check if your first sigil triggers, you have a 60% chance for that. If it triggers then you apply a bleed, the cooldown start and now the second sigil can’t trigger because of the cooldown. If the first sigil doesn’t trigger than you have another 60% chance that the second sigil will trigger, also starting the cooldown for both of them.

Right. Thanks for clearing that up. I had confusion on me.
