Considering amulets take a long a time to get (and I also want to gear my other alts with ascended amulets), which amulet should i get if I can only get one? This wouldn’t have been an issue if amulets can be obtained faster such as farming FotM with multiple alts and/or multiple daily chest tiers wherein I swap rings depending on my build.

I’m thinking of getting the +all stat amulets. Helps slightly boost passive conditions when specced for power, plain damage when specced for condis, healing for super elixir, etc. Engineers have plenty of build options and this helps all of them though not as much as specialized gear. But even power engis have condition passives and vice-versa so it still helps all around.

On my Engineer, I currently use Syzygy (Celestial/Celestial) with a Gilded Infusion (+20% Gold Find).

I don’t see why you’d use anything else, given that it has such a great balance of stats on it including Magic Find and Critical Damage. Power/Condition Damage is so easy to stack on the Engineer with Might it seemed silly to not go for the +All Stat amulet.

i use sygyzy and havent regretted

good arguments could be made for a utility slot amulet with any of:
zerker
rabid
rampager
soldier
celestial

i wouldnt really go for the others though

I prefer condi or hybrid builds on my engi, and after playing around for quite a while in gw2buildcraft I figured out my ideal stat setup.

Has a rabid amulet so i’ll likely be getting that.

However – I’m not going to spend my laurels until i see the upcoming changes to engineer.

I’d say knight one (pow prec tough) if there is one.
You can always get zerk one exotic for cof

All around stats because I change up my build / skills / traits so often, its just something I can keep on no matter what. You get more benefit i think from the extra stats than you would from just a little bit extra of a particular stat
