I am stuck!

Which hammer skin to use with my Scrapper/Engineer.

At HoT I am making a new engineer, probably human, that will be a scrapper (that is if I like the spec.). I just cannot decide on a hammer skin.

Yea, I know. It is personal preference.
Why does it have to be so hard! (<— fyi, rhetorical)

And don’t suggest the Juggernaut, after 3 years constant play, and, recently, 20k SW bags, never a precursor in sight. Ha.

Pact fleet hammer skin looks pretty awesome for an engi theme, but the best hammer for your char may depend on the rest of how your armor.

You can stick with the Giant Wrench Skin they have for Scrapper.

We see 2 Wrench Hammer skins in the arts though I don’t know if the other one is a skill skin or a new Hammer skin for HoT.

Aetherized Hammer skin is also a ideal skin look due to the technology theme if you can some how save up 5 BL tokens or make the money for it.

Sitting on like a stack and a half of Charged Lodestones, if scrapper ends up being fun I’ll probably be putting them to use, if not I’ll finally drain them and take my gold.

I have fusion hammer ready for this though i am not sure if it fits the ideal. If you could get the aetherized hammer i think that would go a long way.

I’m gonna use the Jugg I crafted for my warr and guard, because, kitten… it’s already there.

BUT if I didn’t have the Jugg, I’d probably use the Zodiac hammer because I like the Rhino theme.

Phoenix Hammer Skin is my fave first skin I ever bought.

A etherized hammer, Mecha anchor, mad scientist hammer, the punisher.

i like the dredge pulverizer or the new makeshift hammer – they look rustic…

charr cultural 3 is nice too

and of course the aetherized hammer if you got 1000 gold lying around

I’m a fan of Entropy…but I like the purple glowy bit to it. Got one stored away, waiting for the time my engi can use it.

Edit – Just noticed Genesis, so pretty! Might have to pick it up too. Never had a reason to look through the hammer skins really…

Im kinda confused there is a hammer skin on the release teaser image but in the livestream there was a different hammer skin, which one is the specialization bound skin?

My sylvari engineer has bluish-purple skin and armor so she’ll be using either Entropy or the Nightmare hammer. Tormented might work too.

Aetherized – got mine for 1k gold and the skin already has an inventory slot

Might get the scientific hammer as well, but only if I get the feeling that hammer will replace rifle as the best pvp weapon. I mean I’ll be making a revenant too, but I don’t want to drop gold on something that I won’t use, and this hammer doesn’t really go with the theme I have in mind for my revenant.

tl;dr-pvp only players are poor.

I might use my mom and dad’s credit card to buy gems for Mjolnir. Im only 9. Candy cane I think I have enough copper for.

The legendary hammer is fugly. It looks like a low level staff tbh.

it seems there is an elite hammer skin and another new skin – one is the one from the elite teasers the other one looks like a giant wrench… but didnt anet say there are 60 or so new unique items in hot? guess its one of those….

Not everyone can afford Mjolnir. Scientific is just way cool.

Seconded. I have a WupWup Hammer skinned with Entropy, with a Sigil of Torment and Sigil of Fire for added AoE chaos. May not be the BEST Sigils but they do nice AoE damage and the Fire effect is nice.

I also like The Ugly Stick if you want raw barbarism.

I think there’s a lot of cool looking hammers but it has to be Aetherized for me. Luckily I got it back at 300g months ago just hoping that Engis could use hammers someday.

It’s the excitment at the possiblilty of being able to see the weapon for substantial amounts of time and the mania following years of hobosacks. All the repressed and pent up desire for vanity items, from three years of being the least customisable class, have caught up with us ^^

Bud, you are mad pro and Im sure you carry all the lucky scrubs that end up in your team. Friend, did you lose weight? For some reason you look 5 years younger and 3 inches taller. You are so smart, mate. Did you get a double PhD in chemical engineering and bio-informatics when you were 15? Coz you come across like you did.

Can I have the Pact skin? Or like 200 gold?

But if you don’t want it coz you have like 3 awesome skins already, I will cherish it.

I’m partial to the Scientific Hammer (is that one still available it’s been a while) and Mecha Anchor.

I think the candy cane fits the quirky persona of some engies.

If the skins weren’t so abundant, Im sure they will command a higher premium than most hammer skins. Same for the princess wand scepter.
