I have recently started yet another toon in Gw2. It is the last one to role for me and I’ve been putting it off now for some while because the pistols are so ugly in this game. I rolled an asura any recommendations on a good looking gear and weapon skin? Currently I’m thinking the Aetherized Pistol is the only pistol in the game that is appealing.

All about personal taste really. I find the Legionnaire Sidearm (And whole set) great, but as you can see my character is Charr.

I agree, and I think the major reason for their ugliness is that they are too “big”.
The aetherized pistol is no exception though. In my opinion, the only cool skins are the Krytan Pistol and the Pact Pistol.

I like a lot of the pistols. For my thief I’m partial to the ascended and aetherized versions for the “revolver” look. But on my engineer, the big blunderbuss style pistols (ie norn) seem to fit the multipurpose nature better.

Some are alright. I like the legionnaire too, or check out the ebonhawk weaponset (rifle is good, as well as pistol).

Glyphic pistol = best pistol.

Lyss x2 for me.. and Wall of the Mist for matching shield. All personal preference tho.

I’ve had multiple friends ask me why I’m using a level 1 pistol skin on my ascended pistol. This is why.

I also agree that most pistol skins are just horrid : /

If/when they make a new legendary pistol I hope it’s awesome tech (I’m not a quip fan).

Pistol? The whole weapon design in this game is by far the most terrible point of GW2 There are only a few acceptable weapons tbh.

i used to use double ruinmakers, then double aetherblade pistol, and now i use quip and super pistol. i personally like a lot of pistol skins

I like the Seraph (human t3 weapon), Wolfborn (norn t3 weapon) and Order of Whispers pistols.

There are alot of fine pistol skins really, as much as there are ugly ones.
