So I decided to roll with the Maruder Scrapper and my god you can’t kill anyone. I’ll get them to around 20% but now my skills are on CD and they use their heals. How is this class even Meta?

I would say I’m a decent engi, I’ve played enough games and watched videos on how to play the build.

o_O What on earth are you talking about? Marauder Scrapper has crazy sustain, basically perma-Protection and really solid damage. It might not be super high damage but it still certainly hurts if you combo properly.

The problem isn’t Engi, it’s the meta in general which is highly bunker. I can kill a squishy build in seconds. It’s the popular condi Rev’s, other Marauder Scrappers and bunker Chrono’s that are the problem.

You are not going to kill someone within seconds no.
The strength of that build lies in the fact that it has high sustain while maintaining high pressure.
Don’t know what you were expecting to burst in seconds during a meta were almost everyone has high sustain through passive trait procs and utilities.

Engi/Scrapper’s meta because it fits in with the consistent sustain + dps that everyone but Thief/Warrior has right now.

It lays in the lightning field. You either combo in it well and you’re successful, or botch the combo field up and do very little.

Snap targeting may seem like a good idea, but manual ground targeting is best. Put the field where they are about to be next, not on top of them.

what on earth are you talking about o.O .. i rolled engi for the first time (cuz scrapper seemed awesome to try out) and Oh My God. it has crazy sutain and crazy damage. with those hammer combos you can blow someone up so easily o.O .. and im quite new to engis. u r doing something really wrong if you can’t do damage…
